TIME LIMITS MENS C & ABOVE: No new inning after 70 minutes

MENS D & BELOW: No new inning after 65 minutes

HOME RUN RULE:

MENS OPEN: Eight (8) Home Runs per team. Excessive HR’s are DBO’s.

MENS C: Five (5) Home Runs per team.  Excessive HR’s are DBO’s.

MENS D: Three (3) Home Runs per team.  Excessive HR’s are IEO’s.

MENS E: One (1) Home Run per team.  Excessive HR’s are IEO’s.

MENS REC: One (1) Home Run per team.  Excessive HR’s are IEO’s.

GSL DHH: Player who, without penalty, may hit a home run every time at their at bat.  Teams must designate their DHH (Designated Homerun Hitter) prior to the start of the game.  Should the DHH be walked (intentionally or not) the next person to hit a home run may do so without penalty until the DHH’s spot comes back up in the lineup.

COURTESY RUNNERS: One (1) courtesy runner per inning (one time) may be used. The courtesy runner can be any player on the roster.  If the courtesy runner is still on base at the time his/her turn to bat comes up, that spot in the batting order will be an out. spot in the batting order will be an out.  After the courtesy runner rule, we put in Effect: If a second runner of the inning or one not from the roster enters the game and the defensive team completes a proper appeal before the next pitch, or illegal pitchers’ action, intentional walk or before all fielders have left fair territory, the runner will be declared out with no further action.

SPEED UP RULE: No defensive team huddles on the mound. This includes any player meeting with the pitcher. This will be recorded as a conference. 

TIE BREAKER: All extra-inning games & when time limit is reached, you will start the extra inning with the last out at second base.  Pool Play can end in a tie.

DUGOUT RULE: Only players, coaches and score keepers are allowed in the dugout. 

ON DECK RULE: Only one on deck batter and 1 coach in each box, all others are to be in the dugout.   2 On-Deck with bat testing with buckets.

PROFANITY AND TAUNTING: This will not be tolerated and based on umpire discretion. 

BAT RULE: Only the new 240 stamp bats will be allowed.  Anyone caught using an unstamped or 220 bat will be an out and ejected from the game.  Anyone using an altered bat will be ejected from the tournament. Batter stepping into the batter’s box with an illegal bat is ejected when the ball is put into play by the umpire.  *The batter had the intent to use the bat once they stepped into the batter’s box  

BALL RULE: The Tournament Director will supply all balls. 

BATTING: All teams may bat up to 12 players and any 10 players may play defense at any time. Exception: Conference Events

10 PLAYER RULE Any team may start with 9 players, they must take an out in the 10th position and they may add the 10th player only at any time. 

PITCHING: 50 feet, the pitcher must toe the rubber.

GAME TIMES:  After the first rounds of games on the opening day of a tournament, teams must be ready to play 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time.  In the event it is the teams first game of the tournament, the teams can begin before their scheduled game time.  The bracketed game time is the official start time for the first games of a tournament.
